Saint Valentine's Day (commonly referred to simply as Valentine's Day) is an annual holiday held on February 14 celebrating love and affection. The holiday is named after one or more early Christian martyrs named Valentine and was established by Pope Gelasius I in 496 AD. It is traditionally a day on which one expresses love for another by presenting flowers, offering confectionery, and sending greeting cards (known as "valentines"). The holiday first became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages.

In the modern millenium, a new divinity has, for many, given new meaning to the holiday. This new St. Valentine (The Divine GODdess Valentine DeVille) is widely recognized to be a woman of incomparably enchanting beauty and extraordinary intellect. She is the focus of intense worship and adoration by Her many minions and devotees, who understand that it is their role to serve Her Perfect Holiness through regular offerings of gifts and through tithing significant portions of their income to Her so that She may live a life of incredible luxury and extravagance.

In news that has shocked the entire British nation, recently married Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge and second in line to the British throne, has left his bride, Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge and renounced all claims to the throne in order to spend his life in service to GODdess Valentine DeVille, a woman currently residing in Montreal Canada who is generally acknowledged to be one of the most beautiful and fascinating women in the world.

GODdess Deville is renowned as a dominant female who quite properly considers all men to be Her inferiors and who demands complete submission to Her female dominant will as a fundamental requirement for any man becoming a part of Her world. As befits a woman of Her beauty and power, She lives a life of incredible luxury, with all costs paid for quite eagerly by the men whom She refers to as Her "paypets."

"The prince recently came upon GODdess Valentine's website and was immediately entranced by Her incomparable beauty" said a spokesman for the prince. "Ever since that moment, he can think of nothing else except for his desire to serve Her and to give all that he has to Her. The Most Reverend Rowan Williams, Archbishop of Canterbury, has confirmed that the marriage of the Duke and Duchess will be annulled and that Prince William prefers now to be known only by the title of "GODdess Valentine's paypet slave." In response to the many inquiries She has been receiving from the press, GODdess Valentine released a short statement in which She said that "Yes, it is true that I have accepted prince william as the latest addiction to My paypet harem. He understands fully that it is a privilege for him or any man to be accepted into My service and that, as is the case with all My most devoted paypets, the entire purpose and goal of all that he does will now be to do all that he can to serve and please Me."

It has also been reported that Prince William's father, Prince Charles, was at first visibly disturbed by the news of his son's decision, but that upon seeing pictures of GODdess Valentine, he expressed the view that the decision is a very understandable one and that he would not be surprised if Prince Harry makes a similar choice in the not too distant future.
